Hello there :)
I'm laying on my couch right now watching Ellen. There is this incredible couple on the show doing a roller skate routine that is absolutely ridiculous and it has me thinking that some people are so talented. I've never really thought that I had a talent and I really don't think I do have a talent. Sure, I danced for 14 years but I was never the most talented of the girls in my class. I've always wondered that maybe, JUST maybe, I haven't found my talent yet. Maybe, I'm an amazing trumpet player, or maybe I'm able to sculpt ice into awesome shapes. But ya see, I'm not really one to try new things. They scare me far too much.
I wonder if I can think of some things I am good at..
Mario Video Games
Every since I was a young girl I've enjoyed playing Mario. They're some of the easiest games but quite enjoyable. I've been able to make it to most Bowser Castles but normally get bored once I make it there. I keep up with this video game obsession because it helps me take out my stress with certain things on something other than people or myself. I pop in one of my Mario games and my day just gets better.
Guessing who the murderer is on those cliche crime show
I like pretending I am Patrick Jane from The Mentalist. I try to see through people and try to figure out who is the most likely subject. I'd say about 94.7% of the time I'm right, which is a pretty good percentage I`d say.
Putting a name to a face
If I haven`t seen you for years there is a good chance I`ll recognize your face which means there is an awesome chance I`ll remember your name. Even if I've only seen a picture of you but never met you in person, I`ll remember your name. Creepy, right?
Getting the most bang for your buck
I'm such a savvy shopper. Give me 100 dollars and I'll get you all you need. Whether that be a few work outfits, or groceries for two weeks. I'll do it and you'll be impressed.
Getting what I want
When I want something, I will get it and nothing will stop me. That is all it comes down to.
Cleaning
Seems like something odd to be good at, but I really am. I figured out that I almost have OCD where it comes to keeping things clean. This really only applies when I'm at work, though. I'm the baker at Tim Hortons. I'm sure you can just imagine how messy the baking area gets. When it comes to my clean up, I'm quick and thorough. I actually move things out of the way when I clean, as opposed to most people who have the "if ya can't see it, it's not there" attitude.
Standing up for myself
I'm not confident, but I do not like when someone tries to make a fool of me. If I know I am right, or believe what the other person is saying is way off, I know I can stand up for myself with out looking like a snobby idiot. I won't say eff this or eff that, "you bitch", or anything that immature. I will pull out my most intelligent comebacks and make the other person feel stupid.
I'm sure theres more I'm good at but my brain stopped working at this moment. But as you can see, most people don't have obvious talents, but I believe these aren't the worst talents. Better than most, I'd say.

A Long Weekend
Hello,
I hope everyone enjoyed their weekend, I know I did. Although I had to work early Saturday morning, I was able to enjoy my Saturday night. I had a few friends over and we had some drinks. It wasn't all that exciting but I did get to relax without having to worry about getting up early the next morning. Sunday, Donald and I relaxed all day. We made nachos, which were absolutely delicious. I never really thought about this blog all weekend until last night when I was laying in bed. I realized I hadn't written anything all weekend. So I figured I should catch up and write something this morning.
I finished reading The Hunger Games book series last week and have yet to see the movie. How unfortunate. The books had me captivated the entire time I read them. It was like a disease. I couldn't get away from them; I still can't, I almost feel the need to read them another time, they were that excellent. I've been listening to the soundtrack for the movie non-stop and I am beyond excited to see the movie. I've heard mixed reviews from people, but that's how it is with every movie, right? So I'm going to see it and make my own opinion on it.
I've never felt so close to a person in a novel, as crazy as that sounds. Katniss was such a strong-willed girl. Even if she didn't realize it. She didn't know what she could do to people, which turned out to be a lot; enough to cause a rebellion. The concept of the novel was very interesting but morbid. But I couldn't put it down.
My school has changed locations, finally. After more than six months of telling us the school was moving it finally has. I'm still unsure of where it is located but I'm sure I'll figure it out. I'm hoping our classroom is larger than at the other location. With 11 students in a room big enough for seven it's been a crowded four months.
I read my last blog over and decided I really need to make those peanut butter cups. I'm off to do that right now!
To whomever is reading this, enjoy your day. Make the best out of this gloomy weather. :)

I had to wake up early this morning to take my sister school and unfortunately I can not get back to sleep. A chance to sleep in, but I wasn't able to take it. Good thing I have Sunday off.
I have some free time - who am I kidding? I never do anything so I ALWAYS have free time - but anyway, I have more free time than usual. I figured I'd attempt a second blog. Ideas do not come to be as easily as some of my fellow classmates. Especially when I sit down and actually try to come up with an idea. I find the best ideas come to you when you least expect it (cliche, sorry) but I believe it is true. Like, when you're laying in bed, thinking about the days events (or lack there of), when all of a sudden you think of the next great book series, or a perfect idea for a school project. You say to yourself, "remember this for the morning." By the time morning comes you forget you even had a school project and that great idea is lost somewhere in the abyss. Well, this is what happened to me. I thought I had a wonderful idea for my second blog but the idea seems to have escaped my memory.
It seems my memory keeps becoming increasingly worse. I can barely remember what I did yesterday, let alone a small idea that came to me when I was half asleep. I think this blog will help with my memory. I can write about the past days events, if they're exciting.
Yesterday was a beautiful day. I didn't really get to enjoy the sun or the heart because I had to work. But the time I did spend outside was great. Beach weather in March, who would have thunk it? I can't say the same for today, though. It's sunny, that's for sure. But no where near the temperature it was yesterday. I'm hoping today turns out to be a productive day. But I highly doubt that. I could go for a walk, or finish reading The Life of Pi, but that means getting up and moving. Right now, I think I'd just rather sleep. Maybe I'll make some peanut butter cups and eat them all. Then I'll be more motivated to go on that walk.
Well this turned out longer than expected. It makes me feel a lot better being able to write down my thoughts instead of keeping them bottled up. It definitely helps with my anxiety.
I think I'm going to try to nap, who knows how that will work out for me.

Hi.
I started this blog for the sole purpose of practicing my writing. I'm a public relations student at Eastern College. If someone were to tell me five years ago that I'd be sitting at this computer starting a blog to practice my writing, I would have laughed in their face. I've never been one for writing; English was never my strong suit. If you can believe it, I enjoyed math the most. Thinking back to math class makes me wonder why I enjoyed it so much. My younger sister, Chelsey, brings home math work and when she asks for my help I just stare at the equations hoping that maybe I'll remember the correct way to answer them. But it never seems to come to me.
When I graduated, the last thought in my mind was to go back to school. I was beyond happy to finally be out of that terrible place. I didn't want to go anywhere near anyone my age again. I found they were immature, annoying or just mean. And I don't do well with people like that. I may only be 20 but I still strive to be mature, intelligent and polite.
The only thing I really want to be is happy. And so far things are going in the right direction.
